Stanford Residence
From phase one of the design process to proposing a design concept to a client. This project allowed me to connect with a real client who had a desire to have a more functional and styled garage space! This is what I came up with!

The Gardening Workspace.
At the initial meeting with the client, where I took dimensions of the existing space, I spoke with her about what exactly she wanted to use this space for. She explained that she really loves to garden and needs more storage and a functional space to do so! I created a gardening workbench that incorporates a beautiful piece of cabinetry the client has had, but did not know how to use it, a space to sit and work for comfortability, and generous work space for all of her plants and tools!
A General Workspace.
The client then mentioned that her husband needed a space to work with his tools and store them. I decided to create a similar workbench as the gardening workbench but incorporate more storage to fit the size of tools and other materials! I also created a space to sit for her husband because these clients plan to age in place, so I wanted to create a space they would always feel comfortable in.
Below are the concept boards, including the materials and the inspiration I used to create these designs!
